Rachel's

It's Official

White America (and there is a split between white and black americans on this issue) is totally and completely morally bankrupt. Eighty-fucking-two percent of white americans polled still support this military action. Even Canada is getting dissed now for not joining in. Sorry guys, Canada does not invade sovereign countries in the absense of a credible threat or an induced humanitarian catastrophe. Where the hell were the Americans in Rwanda anyway?

March21 Up To No Good

Our compatriot March21 (of Vancouver's Circlesquare) got himself emboiled in some over-zealous police work today, owing to the mock-anarchistic tone of his most recent artwork. More controversy than Willie D. Made the cover of the main city newspaper. Check the article....too surreal. Anyway, his art opening tonight was dope. If you're in Vancouver, check it.
Oh yeah, Way to go America today! Way to recreate the horrors of London 1941 and Dresden 1944. 'Delivering' your 'ordinance' with such finesse against 'targets of opportunity'. Dicks.

There Are...

...five, and only five, perfect songs:
A Better Life Since - Southpacific
Carolyn's Fingers - Cocteau Twins
The Boy With The Thorn In His Side - The Smiths
Sometimes - My Bloody Valentine
More Than Ever - The Clientele

And one other thing, the media in North America has taken to bashing the shit out of France for being cowards, duplicitious, conniving, insincere, etc, etc...Yo, at this point I'd take Jacques Chirac over Blair/Bush any fucking day of the week. I wish the American people could muster one-tenth the voice of dissent that the French people are expressing. I know you're out there! C'mon Seattle, Boston, NYC, San Fran, Chicago...
