These guys played Van last night. The first show I've seen in too long. DMST were awesome. If you get a chance to see them live...do it. 7 guys working in harmony. Seamless.
I wish the same could be said for the opening act, though. Groovy basslines combined with terrible (and by terrible I mean offensive) guitars. The worst guitar tuning ever in fact. 2 songs into their set (ie: 40 minutes) I was praying for sympathy...for their set to end. I've never picked up an instrument. The first time I do I imagine I'd sound something similar to the way these guys sounded. It was awful. I'd have preferred an evening on board Pan Am Flight 103.

I can't believe how tragic a place the US is for anyone with leftist leanings...I'm choked. Anyone in the world who cares about humanitarianism and peace should be choked as well.
