 Do Make Say Think & Fly Pan Am These guys played Van last night. The first show I've seen in too long. DMST were awesome. If you get a chance to see them live...do it. 7 guys working in harmony. Seamless. I wish the same could be said for the opening act, though. Groovy basslines combined with terrible (and by terrible I mean offensive) guitars. The worst guitar tuning ever in fact. 2 songs into their set (ie: 40 minutes) I was praying for sympathy...for their set to end. I've never picked up an instrument. The first time I do I imagine I'd sound something similar to the way these guys sounded. It was awful. Sen. Wellstone from Minnesota was the most fearless and impassioned voice for equality and progressive rights in the US Government. He died in a plane crash today. I can't believe how tragic a place the US is for anyone with leftist leanings...I'm choked.
