Two Lynx

This is genius. (whatever you decide to make him say, you'll always produce more coherent thoughts than he can...its unavoidable)
Also, there's a band called Below The Sea from Montreal trying some stunning new things. More later on this crew.

Bruckheimer=Riefenstahl

I figured it all out last night! The movie Armageddon is the reincarnation of Leni Riefenstahl's Nazi propoganda films. Bruckheimer is selling heroic American nationalism and consumerism just like 'Triumph of the Will' was pitching heroic aryan nationalism and the economic order of that day, fascism. Both replete with flag-waving, awful dialogue and morons. Beware the motherfucker Bruckheimer.

Press Update

Three new items. The first is a review of our live show at the end of July. The only live review on this site, because we've only played one show since this site's inception. The second is a review from the Dallas Morning News. Dude actually digs Dram Bal more than On Point. Wierd.

The Geopolitics of Basketball

The Americans were finally defeated in international basketball. (three times this week!) And the World Championship final is between Argentina and Yugoslavia. See the irony? America's game nabbed by one country that is dying under heavy (US-endorsed) IMF austerity measures and another one that got the shit bombed out of it by the US 4 years ago. At least there's a little justice somewhere.

Number 8

We're starting to pick up some steam on our writing for the new yet unnamed record. 8 songs in the pipe.

Breaking Ranks

The PM of Canada announced there will be a vote to ratify Kyoto before year's end, sending a big Fuck Off to the Bush Admin. With Russia expected to ratify soon and the EU already on board, the minimum requirements are in place to bring this thing into legal force. Its a start...
