I'm in awe of this record. From this city without history.

Was bored this morning. So i went through my old cds to see if i could dig up anything interesting to keep me entertained while at work today. Pulled out my copy of 'Teenage Fanclub - A Catholic Education' and blew the dust off the cover. From the first strum of the first chord in 'Everything Flows' it's easy to see how this record is still in my top 5 favorites of all time. Brilliant album.

There's now an abbreviated version of Cold Lamping (from On Point and Red) in the sounds section.

Thoughtful review from a website called Gigamerica.com, which I think is based out of New York. Anyway, the author is from Singapore. Read here.

Tried to go see Baudrillard speak last night, but couldn't get in...damn. He spoke at a lecture hall in Vancouver that holds 250 people. About 1000 came out to see him.
To top it off, along the way, I almost got in a fight with some middle-aged "husband" in a 4x4 (who seemed to be attempting to drive away from an accident scene) and then had the humbling experience of trying to ask a deaf girl directions to the theatre...I'm definitely going to learn some sign language.

I just noticed that the Readymade tracks linked on Audiogalaxy were broken. At first i thought it was because of the trouble the RIAA has been giving Audiogalaxy, (apparently the RIAA is forcing Audiogalaxy to block certain mp3 downloads... ), but found out it was just a dumb link issue. Anyways, the links work now, so if you want to hear more of our music, head on over to Audiogalaxy and download some while you still have the chance.

Added stuff to the sounds section.
While i was cleaning out my closet on the weekend i discovered a box of old tapes... One was labelled "Starfish Room". Not sure how old it is, but judging by the songs, i'd say it's pre-Dramatic Balanced. A few songs at this show never saw a recording studio. I wasn't able to rip all of them (due to tape weirdness), but i was able to encode a few.
Lasting Real (Live)
Hamburg (Live)
Untitled (Live)

The album is starting to pop up in a few on-line record stores/distros. On Point and Red is linked to the Clairecords Store. (on your right)
